Job description

You are the driving force behind the design and establishment of a multi company and international finance department at Off-Grid.
Define and manage the Finance strategy in Germany and African area including all financial management services, planning, analysis, group accounting, reporting and budgets considering country business, ensuring compliance with international regulations.
You will work very closely together with the international offices and will support them to integrate into the system.
Establish a Group Compliance framework including financial control procedures and ensure adherence.
Drive continuous improvement for Finance processes & tools.
Integrate our Group-wide ERP system, leveraging AI systems and time series data, to optimise operational efficiency.
Lead, plan, organise and deliver Finance initiatives, services and processes to achieve financial transparency, maintain short and long-term financial health, and advise the management team.

At least five years of professional experience in a comparable position as CFO or in a senior financial leadership role ideally in a start-up or scale-up environment.
Exceptional global financial management skills, with a thorough understanding of international regulations and accounting practices, especially German accounting.
You are keen to work with a very dynamic and diverse team.

You are willing to travel to our international offices.

You are an IT savvy, have the ability to think creatively and strategically, employing modern tools, AI and technologies to achieve financial objectives and increase impact.
You are business fluent in English (verbal and written), and fluent in German.
