Sourcing Specialist
Job description
You’ll oversee the entire technical sourcing process for electronic products like TVs, solar panels, IC’s, batteries, and plastics—from identifying suppliers to finalising deals. You’ll be enhancing cost reduction, reliability, and supply quality, making the product affordable for more people.
About the role
- Sourcing electronic products and components and managing relationships with suppliers.
- Overseeing the supplier selection process, including RFQs/RFPs, evaluations, and audits.
- Handling contract negotiations and setting up payment terms on your own, overseeing pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
- Keeping all procurement/sourcing records organised, documented, and up-to-date, tracking supplier performance, and ensuring adherence to contractual agreements.
- Staying ahead by spotting risks in the supply chain, finding new tech trends and managing sourcing budgets.
- Working closely with our engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to support our product development and production goals.
About you
- You have at least five years of experience in procurement or sourcing, with a significant focus on electronic products and components. Working in a small team? You’ve done it and excelled.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Excellent English communication skills.
