9th International Hybrid Power Plants & Systems Workshop
The 9th International Hybrid Power Plants & Systems Workshop will be held from 3-4 June 2025 at the Alandica Congress Center on the Åland Islands, Finland. This workshop focuses on advancing the dialogue around Hybrid Power Plants, Hybrid Power Systems, Micro-Grids, and Island Power Systems, offering a unique forum for networking and knowledge exchange among industry leaders, researchers, and energy professionals.
This year’s highly international programme features 70 presentations across 18 sessions, showcasing the latest developments in hybrid power plants and island power systems from a diverse range of regions. Attendees will gain valuable insights from case studies covering pioneering regions such as the Åland Islands, Madeira, Faroe Islands, Hawaii, Indonesia, Corsica, Réunion, Greece, Morocco and many more. The variety of global perspectives will provide an exceptional learning experience alongside other key topics such as grid forming, micro-grids, and system design.
