VoltaViewAfrica

VoltaViewAfrica.org is a non-profit organisation promoting development aid in the areas of renewable energy, e-mobility and drinking water in sub-Saharan Africa. For this purpose, decentralised and solar-powered energy supply systems (powerhouse systems) are planned and built with local partners and suitable business models are developed for the sustainable operation of the systems. The goal is to give everyone affordable access to electricity, drinking water and mobility.

The technology was developed in Germany by the internationally renowned Fraunhofer HHI and Clausthal University of Technology. The systems and components are manufactured and marketed by the start-up company VoltaMove GmbH.
