ARE contributes to CLEAN webinar on the state of the DRE sector in India
On 30 April 30 2024, CLEAN hosted a webinar on the state of the DRE sector in India which followed the publication of their report ‘State of the Decentralised Renewable Energy Sector in India: Indian DRE getting world-ready’.
Speakers at the webinar included contributors to the report who shared their insights and findings from the publication, offering valuable perspectives on the current state of the DRE sector in India.
The first article of the report ‘Setting the context: a macro perspective of the global DRE ecosystem’ was provided by ARE and gives an overview of the global DRE sector covering deployment statistics, incentives and policies, and case examples of DRE as a game-changer in addressing energy poverty and energy access.
