ARE on doubling down efforts to deliver SDG 7 at the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue
The ARE team attended the Berlin Energy Transition Dialogue on 19-20 March 2024, which is the largest and longest-running energy transition conference organised by the German government. Every year, it gathers government representatives, global business leaders, scientists, leaders of international organisations and NGOs to discuss challenges and find solutions to secure an affordable global energy transition.
David and Julia participated in the famed BETD at the German Foreign Affairs Ministry engaging with our German and international members and partners, advocating to double down on efforts to deliver SDG-7 and scaling up the DRE market with PURE and green rural industrialisation. ARE was also actively engaged in ARE partner REN21 activities such as the strategy workshop.
