CORE contributes to STAR C’s capacity-building workshops on solar thermal and energy in East & West Africa
The International Network of Solar Technology and Application Resource Centres (STAR C), in partnership with CORE, conducted two trainings for selected training and examination centres in the EAC and ECOWAS regions.
- 17 April 2024: 23 attendees from the EAC region took part in the training on common accreditation and quality assurance of solar PV and solar thermal.
- 18 April 2024: 51 attendees from the ECOWAS region took part in the training on solar thermal.
By equipping these lecturers with the necessary expertise, CORE aims to contribute to the widespread adoption and implementation of renewable energy technologies in the EAC and ECOWAS regions.
