Powering Oyo State for Industrialisation & Economic Development
The JBC Annual Socio-Economic Summit was instituted in 2023 as an annual event, to bring together thought leaders, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and changemakers to address pressing socio-economic challenges facing the people of Oyo State
Reflective of the collective commitment to driving sustainable growth, fostering industrialisation, and catalysing economic development, the theme for the 2024 edition of the summit is “Powering Oyo State for Industrialization and Economic Development.”
Designed to bring policy makers, academics, practitioners, entrepreneurs and prospective investors together to tackle the problem of energy poverty and access, this Summit is also a complementary effort to aid policy formulation and successful implementation of effective initiatives.
The summit will also incorporate an exhibition by leading products and services providers in the energy and related industries, as well as networking space during the breaks on the sideline for all. In addition, the summit will include the award ceremony of the JBC Youth Innovation Challenge, a competition designed to encourage innovation amongst youth and young entrepreneurs.
The one-day summit holds on the 15th of November, 2024 at the Ibadan Civic Center, Ibadan, Nigeria.
