Job description
ComAp is looking for a Global Technical Support Engineer to join its office in Delhi, India. This role is suited even for graduates, or entry-level candidates with technical knowledge.
We are looking for an energetic, customer service driven individual to join our Technical Support team in the Delhi Office. The purpose of the role will be to provide Level 1 (first line) Technical Support by telephone, email or in-person to customers and distributors located across all regions globally and deliver technical online and in-person training to customers.
Your daily work will include the following:
- Providing day-to-day delivery of technical support services across all regions globally.
- Solving, investigating, and troubleshooting of issues with ComAp products and applications on daily basis.
- Working collaboratively with other technical support staff to ensure that enquiries are resolve/distributed in line with agreed service levels.
- Maintaining technical equipment used for demonstration and training purposes – ComAp starter kits and controllers demo sets
- Collaborating with both the Operational Services & Support Manager and the Regional Technical Support & Services Manager to meet customer needs and continuously improve support services.
- Ensuring that safety and quality standards are met.
- Providing technically focused presentations to customers and distributors to guide customers in the selection of the right products for the right application.
What we expect from you:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in electrical/ electronic engineering or related field, or substantial experience in a relevant industry
- Fluent English language
- BE / Engineering Diploma
- Knowledge of Control Systems & Electrical Equipment
- Previous relevant experience in Technical Support.
- 0-2 years in same or related field or fresh engineering graduates
- Ability to work shift hours
- This position may require domestic travel and occasional international travel as well. The ability to travel is considered an inherent requirement of the position
