Junior Business Developer

About the role
The Junior BDO will report to the Business Development Manager and will have the following main duties and responsibilities:
- Monitoring of funding opportunities, including consultancy tenders and research and cooperation calls for proposal
- Regular updating of key BD documents (e.g. roster database, CVs, partners) and M&E documents
- Supporting the BD Manager in securing partnerships
- Supporting the BD Manager in preparing offers and writing proposals
- Supporting the BD Manager in boosting new workstreams
- Supporting the Research&Innovation activities on primary and secondary data analysis (e.g. market analysis, data entering/cleaning, etc.)
About you
- Advanced degree (Msc/MA) in Engineering/Economics/Environmental Studies/Public Policy/International Development
- At least 2 years of experience in proposal writing for international cooperation agencies, EU funding programs ( H2020, Horizon Europe, Life, Interreg, etc.) regarding renewable energies or energy efficiency
- Knowledge and understanding of the international cooperation for development
- Basic knowledge and understanding of quantitative and qualitative analysis tools
- Advances Knowledge of the Office suite
- Language requirement: Fluency in English + Fluency in French or Portuguese
- Strong communications and presentation skills
- Positive attitude to teamwork and strong motivation to lead high impactful work
