Regional Manager, East Africa
Job description
Camco is seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join us as we operationalise REPP 2, a USD250m private debt fund investing in Africa’s distributed and small-scale renewable energy sector.
Based in Nairobi, the Regional Manager for East Africa will lead investment origination, execution and stakeholder engagement across the region. This is a unique opportunity to shape high-impact renewable energy projects while working with governments, investors and developers to accelerate sustainable development.What we’re looking for:
-Strong commercial and finance expertise in renewable energy investments
-10+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally in emerging markets
-Passion for impact investing and a deep understanding of different business models
-Excellent relationship-building skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
-Fluency in English (French is a plus)
