Solar Business System (SBS) Team Lead
Job description
- This position will be part of the SBS Sales team across any region of operation in Nigeria (focus now 5 cities outlined above).
- The SBS Team Lead role is commission based. This will be in line with the applicable commission scheme notified by Mysol from time to time, upon meeting standard earning metrics.
- Reporting line and duty station may change over time to reflect the Scope of Duties and the needs of the company.
- The SBS Team Lead will have adequate knowledge of solar business systems, business development, retail customer relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive SBS USP education of prospective customers at organized retail outlets with a view to generating leads & on the spot sales
- Ensure timely cascade of leads generated to the customer experience & sales operations units for conversion follow up
- Manage the sales process of MysolBoss products to potential and new customers in the designated territory.
- Supervise the sales transactions and ensure timely and accurate remittance of proceeds according to company policies & support monthly SBS inventory audits
- Utilize allocated funds judiciously to support sales activities, maximizing their impact on revenue generation, sales volume improvement and market expansion.
- Formulate and execute operational sales strategies within the assigned area, aligning with targets set by the Operational Marketing Manager alongside Sales Operations unit.
- Proficiency in pitching, sales conversations, closing techniques, and fostering enduring customer relationships.
Required Skills and Experience
- 1-2 years of SBS sales experience.
- Good communication skills with ability to state messages clearly, using language that is comprehensible to others.
- Relevant experience in selling solar products.
- Organized convenience (Modern Trade) sector exposure would be an advantage
- Strong problem-solving, planning, a team player and highly organized.
- Ability to manage relationships with different stakeholders to resolve issues of moderate complexity.
- Ability to react quickly to changing priorities.
