Owanga

Owanga is Congo’s first on-demand electricity company.

We rent out portable battery packs called the Chisun to users in Congo for USD 2 a day, allowing them to power common appliances such as phones, lights, and even fans for 24 hours. We also sell the Chisun for USD 250. The device is made from plastic bottles and recycled batteries. It features a modular design, combining an inverter and battery, which allows customers to stack multiple units for increased power as needed.
