Founded in 2018 by Axian, Sagemcom, and Norfund, WeLight Africa has emerged as a pioneering force in rural electrification across sub-Saharan Africa. B Corp certified and as an impact driver, WeLight contributes to energy inclusion on the African continent and contributes to a real & positive socio-economic transformation in the villages where it operates.

With ongoing operations in Madagascar and Mali, WeLight Africa operates 170 mini-grids to date and brings clean and productive energy to more than 30,000 households.
