ARE’s member-exclusive dialogue shakes things up with three dynamic working groups, or “Circles”, each focused on a specific aspect of the industry. ARE Members can join the Circles below to be part of the closed-door discussions.

ARE Financier Circle

A group of renewable energy investors convene to explore and catalyse investments in renewable electrification, with a particular emphasis on DRE in Sub-Saharan Africa. This Circle is open to ARE private and public investors and financiers. The Circle is co-chaired by Ieva Indriunaite (Camco) and Maud Watelet (EDFI ElectriFI), with Ines van Oldeneel of ARE serving as Circle Coordinator.

ARE EPC & Developer Circle

This is a group of renewable energy developers and EPC contractors gathering to discuss and develop distributed renewable electrification solutions. The Circle is open to ARE EPC & Developers. The session was chaired by Fabien Leterrier (ENGIE Energy Access), with Julia von Franz of ARE serving as Circle Coordinator.

ARE Technology & Manufacturer Circle

This circle is a group of manufacturers and technology providers in the DRE sector coming together to address common challenges, share insights, and foster partnerships to enhance electrification with renewables globally. The Circle is open to ARE manufacturers and technology providers. Co-chaired by Martin Bednar (ComAp) and Thomas Bonicel (Schneider Electric), the discussions centre on innovative approaches to overcoming industry hurdles. Deepak Mohapatra coordinates this Circle.
